about

my story

My name is david meinsen. Originally from richmond, indiana, I have been drawing for as long as i can remember and began painting graffiti at the age of 12. My early passions for Skateboarding and graffiti evolved into a career in tattooing, which felt like a natural progression of my artistic journey. I began tattooing in 2006 in englewood, ohio, and have remained dedicated to the craft ever since! Beyond my love of tattooing itself, this career has afforded me many opportunities to travel around the country and connect with a Wide range of individuals. Along the way, i have met people who continue to inspire me and contribute to both my artistic development and personal growth.

Throughout my career, i have gained extensive experience with traditional and neo-traditional tattooing, honoring their timeless appeal while incorporating my own artistic perspective. More recently, i have cultivated an interest in EMBROIDERY-style patch tattoos designed to replicate the intricate detail of stitched fabric.

I also specialize in Transforming existing tattoos into refined cover-ups and building upon existing work to create cohesive collections. My current focus includes exploring mash-up designs that blend multiple styles, as well as advancing my work in both black and gray and color realism tattooing. I remain committed to expanding my technical range, continually striving to incorporate greater depth, contrast, and lifelike quality into each piece i create.
